Abhishek Clarifies Aaradhya Is Unaware of Divorce Speculations

Abhishek Clarifies Aaradhya Is Unaware of Divorce Speculations

Post by : Maya Rahman

Abhishek Bachchan addressed the swirling rumors around his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, revealing that their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, is completely unaware of such discussions. In a recent chat, he explained that Aaradhya does not possess a smartphone, safeguarding her from unnecessary noise. This decision stems from a mutual choice he and Aishwarya made, requiring any of Aaradhya's friends to contact her through Aishwarya’s phone instead. He emphasized that their daughter is sensible and well-grounded, thanks to the nurturing values imparted by her mother.

Abhishek further noted that although Aaradhya has access to the internet for academic purposes, her focus remains anchored on studying rather than delving into parental gossip. His comments underscored how much she cherishes her education, preferring to complete assignments over finding out about her family's public persona. He reiterated that Aishwarya has instilled in her the importance of skepticism regarding media portrayals—an ethos he, too, learned from his own parents. According to him, their family thrives on transparency, leaving Aaradhya secure in her understanding.

Responding to the marriage speculation, Abhishek denounced such rumors as “rubbish, vicious, and incorrect,” stating that many fabricated stories have circulated about them through the years. Recently, Aishwarya addressed the emergence of fake accounts pretending to be Aaradhya during the Red Sea Film Festival, affirming that their daughter does not engage in social media.

Aishwarya and Abhishek’s relationship began during the production of Umrao Jaan and Guru. They tied the knot in 2007 and welcomed Aaradhya in 2011. Despite recent rumors in 2024—especially after separate appearances at an Ambani wedding—the couple continues to manage public scrutiny with grace and poise.

On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, whereas Abhishek featured in Be Happy, Housefull 5, and Kaalidhar Laapata. He will soon star in his forthcoming project, King.

Through thoughtful parenting, the couple is dedicated to ensuring Aaradhya is shielded from online negativity, concentrating on her academic growth while instilling strong familial values. With open communication and unwavering family support, she remains largely insulated from the prevailing gossip regarding her parents and the Bollywood scene. The family continues to maintain their unity, showing resilience and privacy amidst public speculation.
