Omani racer Al Faisal Khalid Al Zubair delivered an impressive performance by finishing as the runner-up at the Gulf 12 Hours endurance race, held at the renowned Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This prestigious event attracted numerous professional racing teams from across the Gulf and beyond, showcasing Al Faisal’s talent and reliability on the track as he clinched a top position in the overall standings.
Teaming up with his British colleagues, Chris Froggatt and Ben Tuck, Al Faisal drove the Ferrari 296 GT3, making its competitive debut for Al Manar Racing. The team collaborated with Dragon Racing for car management and strategic planning. Their skillful coordination, along with excellent driving, enabled them to secure the second-place finish against a field of strong international competitors.
This achievement represents a significant moment for Al Manar Racing, marking their inaugural participation in the Gulf 12 Hours. The team's performance not only highlighted their racing capabilities but also underscored Oman’s burgeoning footprint in the global motorsports arena. Looking forward, Al Manar Racing is gearing up for the upcoming Michelin Dubai 24 Hours endurance race, scheduled for 16-18 January 2026. The team is determined to uphold their high standards while continuing to engage on the international racing circuit, aiming for further improvement and yet another top finish in Dubai.
