All flagship models—including the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Air 2, and the anticipated foldable iPhone—are expected to boast a 24-megapixel front camera, a substantial upgrade from the 18-megapixel sensors in the iPhone 17 series.

This advancement represents a noteworthy improvement in Apple's selfie technology, with promises of sharper image quality, enhanced performance in low-light conditions, and superior detail in portrait shots. This comes on the heels of the iPhone 17 series, which introduced an 18-megapixel sensor along with the “Center Stage” feature, providing a wider field-of-view to keep subjects centered during video conferencing.

Furthermore, the foldable iPhone, likely to be named the iPhone 18 Fold, might incorporate Apple's first under-display front camera, enhancing its 24-megapixel capability.
