Consumers in the Vietnamese capital are getting a unique opportunity to experience some of Bac Ninh’s most famous agricultural and traditional products as the seventh edition of the "Vitality of Vietnamese Goods" program officially opened on Trang Tien Street. The event, themed "Kinh Bac Market Fair," aims to strengthen market connections and introduce regional specialties to a wider audience.
Held at 62 Trang Tien Street in the heart of Hanoi, the fair showcases a wide range of products brought directly from production areas in Bac Ninh Province. Fresh seasonal lychees, processed lychee products, traditional Chu noodles, Nui Danh ginseng, golden flower tea, black garlic, and bamboo shoots are among the featured items attracting visitors and shoppers.
One of the biggest highlights of the event is the arrival of freshly harvested U Hong and early-season Thieu lychees. The fruit, transported directly from orchards in Bac Ninh, quickly became a major attraction on opening day. Many visitors stopped to learn about cultivation methods, production standards, and the quality certifications that help local products gain consumer trust.
Organizers say the fair is more than a simple marketplace. It serves as a platform for local cooperatives, farmers, and businesses to introduce their products directly to urban consumers. The initiative also helps strengthen regional supply chains while creating new commercial opportunities for small producers seeking to expand their customer base.
A key feature of this year’s program is the integration of digital commerce with traditional retail activities. On June 5, a special livestream shopping session will be broadcast on the TikTok channel of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development. The event, featuring actress Anh Dao, is expected to introduce Bac Ninh’s specialties to online consumers across Vietnam.
Officials believe that combining physical exhibitions with digital marketing reflects the future direction of product promotion in Vietnam. Livestream sales and online engagement allow local brands to reach wider audiences while preserving the authenticity and cultural value of regional products.
The Kinh Bac Market Fair will continue through June 7, giving residents and tourists in Hanoi an opportunity to discover authentic Bac Ninh specialties. Organizers hope the event will not only boost sales but also strengthen awareness of Vietnamese agricultural products and support the long-term development of local businesses and cooperatives.
