Sherrone Moore, previously the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, was terminated from his position on December 10 due to allegations of an improper relationship with a staff member. Shortly after his dismissal, Moore was arrested for unlawfully entering the home of Paige Shiver, identified as his executive assistant.
Reports indicate that Moore gained access through an unsecured door without consent. A verbal altercation allegedly occurred, during which he threatened to harm himself with two butter knives and a pair of scissors, although police confirmed he was not armed.
Moore now faces multiple charges, including third-degree home invasion, stalking, and unlawful entry. After appearing in court, he was released on $25,000 bail. Michigan University has stated that Shiver continues in her role and has not faced any disciplinary measures.
Sources suggest that Moore and Shiver were in a relationship for several years, which concluded on the day he was fired.
