Dhanashree Verma Reveals Yuzvendra Chahal Cheated Early in Marriage

Dhanashree Verma Reveals Yuzvendra Chahal Cheated Early in Marriage

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Choreographer Dhanashree Verma has opened up about her troubled marriage with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, revealing that she discovered her former husband cheating just two months after their wedding. The revelations come amid rumours that Chahal is currently dating RJ Mahvash.

Dhanashree and Chahal married in December 2020 after meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Chahal requested dance lessons from her. Their relationship lasted less than two years, and the couple separated in June 2022. They officially filed for divorce by mutual consent in February 2025, which was finalized in March this year.

In a recent episode of the reality show Rise and Fall, Dhanashree discussed her marriage with actress Kubbra Sait. When asked when she realized the marriage wouldn’t work, Dhanashree candidly replied, “First year. I caught him in the second month.” Kubbra reacted in shock, exclaiming, “Crazy bro,” which Dhanashree acknowledged.

Earlier, Dhanashree addressed circulating rumours about alimony, confirming that no alimony was involved. She explained that the divorce happened quickly because it was mutual and said, “Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything? My parents have taught me to only justify to people whom I care about. Why waste time explaining to those who don’t even know you?”

Reflecting on her divorce, Dhanashree shared the emotional moment in court, stating that she broke down despite being mentally prepared. “I started howling in front of everybody. I couldn’t even express what I was feeling at that point,” she said, recalling the final hearing.

Meanwhile, speculation around Chahal’s personal life continues, as he was recently spotted with RJ Mahvash at the Champions Trophy final in Dubai. Although rumours suggest a romantic link, Mahvash maintains that their relationship is purely friendly.

Dhanashree’s revelations have reignited public interest in her personal life and her former marriage, highlighting the challenges faced by public figures in managing relationships under media scrutiny.
