The adrenaline-charged action thriller Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has exploded onto the box office scene, achieving the remarkable feat of surpassing the Rs 200-crore milestone within just a week of its release. Debuting on December 5, the film has garnered enthusiastic feedback from both audiences and critics alike, celebrated for its captivating narrative, thrilling action scenes, and outstanding performances. By December 11, it achieved a total of approximately Rs 207.25 crore after earning around Rs 27 crore on that day alone, according to trade vet Sacnilk.

The film's launch weekend set the stage for its record-breaking venture, accumulating Rs 103 crore in three days—Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and an impressive Rs 43 crore on Sunday. This momentum continued through the week, adding Rs 23.25 crore on Monday, Rs 27 crore on Tuesday, and another Rs 27 crore on Wednesday, sealing its blockbuster legacy.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh commended the film’s remarkable consistency, tweeting, “NUMBERS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS… #Dhurandhar is a BOXOFFICE MONSTER. The weekday trends clearly show a blockbuster performance. The audience has embraced it fully, proving that the content has struck a chord.”

Featuring a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, the movie combines stellar performances with Dhar’s visionary direction, offering an electrifying cinematic journey that resonates with viewers across the nation.

As a thrilling addendum, the creators have revealed plans for a sequel, set to premiere on March 19, 2026, ensuring fans can look forward to another action-packed escapade. With its explosive box office success and strong audience engagement, Dhurandhar is firmly established as one of the year's most significant triumphs.
