Ranveer Singh’s explosive action thriller Dhurandhar is making waves at the box office, achieving an incredible Rs 460.25 crore within its first two weeks. This remarkable figure cements its status as a top-tier Bollywood blockbuster. Daily collections remain robust as the film accelerates towards the significant Rs 500 crore mark.
Since its release on December 5, Dhurandhar has enjoyed an enthusiastic reception across India, fueled by strong advance sales, festive crowds, and glowing reviews. It garnered a hefty Rs 103 crore in its opening weekend, with collections of Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and peaking at an impressive Rs 43 crore on Sunday.
The film's momentum persisted through the weekdays, showcasing its solid box office stability. On Monday, it brought in Rs 23.25 crore, followed by Rs 27 crore on Tuesday. The first week's total reached Rs 207.25 crore, a significant accomplishment for an action-packed release, thanks to collections of Rs 27 crore on both Wednesday and Thursday.
The second week proved even more fruitful, confirming its blockbuster standing. Dhurandhar collected Rs 32.5 crore on Friday, and enjoyed a substantial weekend boost—Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 58 crore on Sunday. Strong weekdays followed with Rs 30.5 crore on Monday, Rs 30 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 25.5 crore on Wednesday, wrapping up with Rs 23 crore on Thursday, raising the total to Rs 460.25 crore in merely 14 days.
Industry analysts note that the film surpassed its entire first week’s earnings within just six days of the second week, a rarity in contemporary Bollywood. Additionally, it has consistently earned above Rs 24 crore daily for almost two weeks, highlighting its strong audience appeal and repeat viewership.
Under Aditya Dhar’s direction, Dhurandhar features an extraordinary cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Its compelling storyline, large-scale action scenes, and resonant patriotic themes have captivated audiences across both multiplexes and single theaters.
With its box office success continuing unabated, Dhurandhar is anticipated to exceed the Rs 500 crore threshold shortly. The producers have already announced a sequel, set for release on March 19, 2026, enhancing the franchise’s future potential.
