The third iteration of the Remarkable Emirati Women (REW) event lit up Abu Dhabi as over 700 leaders, influencers, and advocates came together to emphasize impact, purpose, and progress. Held under the auspices of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, the summit underscored the expanding roles of Emirati women on national, regional, and global stages.
This year's theme, Unleash Your Impact, spotlighted how Emirati women are instrumental in forging the UAE’s future through their leadership, resilience, and community involvement. The event featured Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the esteemed Guest of Honour, who played a vital role in recognizing 62 graduates from the second cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter program. This initiative, organized jointly by the General Women’s Union and PureHealth, is dedicated to enhancing leadership skills, mentorship, and professional growth among Emirati women.
The summit's opening delivered powerful messages of motivation and pride, reflecting the unwavering support of the UAE’s leadership for women’s empowerment. Attendees celebrated Emirati women not just for their professional accomplishments but also for their essential roles in fostering strong families and communities, highlighting their significance in national development.
A central theme throughout the day was meaningful impact without imposing unrealistic expectations. Discussions covered leadership, mental wellbeing, and sustainability, addressing the challenges women face in balancing ambition with personal health. These conversations resonated well with many, emphasizing that genuine progress is grounded in consistency, mutual support, and shared responsibility, rather than the pursuit of perfection.
The summit also honored the legacy of early Emirati women, recognizing their ability to transform challenges into opportunities and laying the groundwork for current achievements. This connection brought together past efforts with the aspirations of a new generation determined to lead with purpose.
Co-organized by the General Women’s Union and the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, alongside PureHealth, the event provided an influential platform for dialogue and collaboration. Prominent individuals from government, healthcare, education, business, and social sectors participated in discussions exploring leadership, wellbeing, and community impact.
The ceremony also initiated the registration for the third cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter program, which will welcome 100 new members, signifying the ongoing expansion of a vital platform that supports Emirati women as leaders, innovators, and change agents.
As the summit wrapped up, the atmosphere was filled with confidence and enthusiasm. The Remarkable Emirati Women 2025 event reinforced a clear message: Emirati women are not only shaping today's advancements but are also steering the UAE's future toward sustained impact and collective strength.
