Isha Ambani Honors LACMA Trustees with Opulent Mumbai Dinner

Isha Ambani Honors LACMA Trustees with Opulent Mumbai Dinner

Post by : Meena Ariff

This week, Antilia, the stunning Mumbai residence of the Ambani family, played host to an opulent dinner in honor of board members from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), organized by Isha Ambani. The evening resonated with sophistication and warmth, epitomizing Isha's distinctive style.

Recently appointed as a LACMA trustee, Isha Ambani opted for a subtle yet chic look, donning a brown pantsuit while her hair was styled neatly in a bun. Her choice of minimal accessories, including simple stud earrings, accentuated her refined appearance, perfectly aligning with her ensemble.

This year, Isha Ambani has made waves with her fashion sense. Notably, on November 10, she co-hosted the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Dinner in New York alongside renowned figures like Zac Posen and Anna Wintour. For this event, she dazzled in a deep wine-purple outfit featuring a corseted top, a cropped embellished blazer, and a sleek pencil skirt, cinched at the waist with an eye-catching jeweled belt.

The dinner at Antilia marked a significant occasion for LACMA, coinciding with the announcement of five new trustees including Isha Ambani, David Kaplan, Wendi Murdoch, Andy Song, and Maggie Tsai. This expansion has raised LACMA’s voting trustees to 58, with eight individuals recognized as lifetime trustees. The newly appointed board members come from a variety of fields, including retail, digital communications, entertainment, and finance, showcasing connections across both sides of the Pacific.

Additionally, this gathering took place as LACMA skirts closer to an important milestone in its redevelopment project. The David Geffen Galleries, which are currently under construction, are in their final phase, promising to enhance the visitor experience when they open in April 2026.

For Isha Ambani, hosting this delightful dinner was more than mere hospitality; it was a chance for LACMA's leadership to engage in a relaxed environment removed from typical boardroom discussions. For attendees, it signified a new era for LACMA and welcomed Isha as one of its newest trustees.
