Aespa announced via their Weibo account their intention to donate 500,000 Hong Kong dollars to the Hong Kong Red Cross, expressing sorrow over the unfortunate events.
Stray Kids committed to a donation of 1 million Hong Kong dollars through World Vision Hong Kong, aimed at providing temporary shelter and necessary aid for the children and families affected. The group expressed their deep sadness regarding the tragedy.
Both SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment have come together to contribute a total of 3 million Hong Kong dollars towards emergency relief and recovery initiatives.
In addition, acts such as Riize, EXO-CBX, and KickFlip have each donated 100,000 Hong Kong dollars via World Vision Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the MAMA Awards organisers in Hong Kong encountered backlash online in South Korea for proceeding with the event following the disaster. Although they cancelled the red carpet, the primary ceremony went ahead.
They expressed their sympathies to the victims and included a "Support Hong Kong" message alongside a moment of reflection during the event. Additionally, they pledged 20 million Hong Kong dollars to the government's relief fund.
