In a heartwarming turn, the Abhishek-Ahuja family has embraced peace after years of discord. Sunita Ahuja, spouse of actor Govinda, has reconciled with her nephew Krushna Abhishek and niece Arti Singh, marking the end of their long-standing divide.
During a recent podcast with Paras Chhabra, Sunita reflected on her journey, stating, “Krushna and I grew up together along with Vinay and Dumpy. They are like my own children. I’ve let go of the past and wish for nothing but happiness for us all.”
Arti Singh expressed her joy in response, saying, “I watched that interview and felt overwhelmed with happiness! We’ve always been viewed as her children. No matter what transpired, I’ve remained silent. I’m relieved she and Krushna are on good terms now.”
The family rift reportedly began when Krushna made jokes about his uncle Govinda during a comedy act, which Sunita found to be disrespectful. Despite Krushna’s apologies over the years, tension persisted until recently.
In her podcast remarks, Sunita also expressed a heartfelt wish for Arti to consider motherhood soon, saying, “It’s time to focus on love, not fights. I hope Aarti becomes a mother shortly. She ties rakhi to Yash every year.”
Arti responded with affection, stating, “Whenever God deems it right, I’ll be a rockstar nani! I have cherished my mami and Chi Chi mama immensely. They’ve loved us like their own.”
