Lakshya Becomes Bollywood’s Next Star with Dharma’s Big Projects

Lakshya Becomes Bollywood’s Next Star with Dharma’s Big Projects

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Actor Lakshya is rapidly becoming one of Bollywood’s most promising young talents, following his recent successes and high-profile projects with Dharma Productions. The actor has been receiving widespread recognition for his lead role in Aryan Khan’s blockbuster The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, where he starred as Aasmaan Singh. Combined with his critically acclaimed performance in last year’s Kill, Lakshya’s career trajectory looks set for a major rise.

Following his previous films, Lakshya is currently filming Chand Mera Dil alongside Ananya Panday, further solidifying his position in the industry. Fans are particularly excited about his upcoming projects under Dharma Productions, which promise both action and romance.

One of the major films in Lakshya’s lineup is the rebooted Dostana 2. While the movie has undergone changes, including a new cast featuring Vikrant Massey and either Sreeleela or Pratibha Ranta, Lakshya remains the only original cast member retained from the first version. However, he is not expected to share screen space with Janhvi Kapoor in this reboot, despite their original pairing.

Instead, Lakshya and Janhvi Kapoor are reportedly set to star together in another Dharma Productions project, a revenge-romance film that will also feature Tiger Shroff. Directed by Raj Mehta, known for hits like Good Newwz and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, the movie promises an exciting mix of romance, drama, and action. Filming is expected to begin in December 2025.

While Lakshya’s rising star continues to draw attention, social media reactions to Janhvi Kapoor’s involvement in consecutive high-profile projects have been mixed. Many fans expressed skepticism about the pairing with Tiger Shroff, but the anticipation around Lakshya’s performances remains overwhelmingly positive.

With multiple films lined up and growing critical acclaim, Lakshya appears to be firmly on his way to becoming Dharma Productions’ next “blue-eyed boy” of Bollywood.
