Manika Vishwakarma Dazzles in Peacock Green Saree at Miss Universe

Post by : Meena Ariff

Representing India at the 74th Miss Universe competition in Thailand, Manika Vishwakarma has captured attention through her grace and articulate responses. Her involvement is noteworthy not only for her beauty but also for her advocacy efforts.

Embracing her Indian roots, Manika chose a stunning peacock green saree for her official introduction by the Miss Universe Organisation on Instagram. This six-yard masterpiece is crafted from transparent chiffon and features elaborate gold zari embroidery, glimmering sequin details, a scalloped hem, and floral motifs that exemplify traditional craftsmanship.

To complement the saree, she donned a matching peacock green blouse with a wide bateau neckline, plunging cut, and a backless design fastened with elegant dori ties. The modern cropped hem seamlessly blended with the timeless saree. Her accessories included a statement choker, matching earrings, kadhas, and a mang tika, all embellished with shimmering crystals and emeralds that accentuated her royal appearance.

For her makeup, Manika opted for a chic and glamorous look. This included bold eyebrows, gold-hued eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara-laden lashes, rosy cheeks, a luminous highlighter, glossy coral pink lips, and a delicate bindi. She styled her hair in a center-parted braid, enhancing the traditional aesthetic.

The Miss Universe Organisation also spotlighted her diverse achievements and lesser-known attributes. A political science student, she is also an award-winning artist and a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity through her initiative, Neuronova. Furthermore, she volunteers in rural clinics to enhance women’s healthcare access, demonstrating her commitment to social issues alongside her modeling journey.

With her elegance, style, and advocacy work, Manika Vishwakarma embodies India's spirit on the international Miss Universe stage, charming audiences with both her stunning appearance and heartfelt dedication to important causes.
