Rajasthan's own Manika Vishwakarma is representing India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, capturing attention not just through her stunning attire and poise, but also with her insightful intelligence. As she shines on this prestigious platform, social media is awash with praise for her thoughtful and impactful responses.
A recent video showcasing her reply to a poignant question during one of the events has taken the internet by storm. When questioned about whether Miss Universe is a dream for every girl but a journey for one, Manika's response was both profound and inclusive.
She began by affirming that while it is a singular journey, it is far more expansive than that. “I wouldn’t say so… My stand here is because of my mother’s education and support. I stand here because the girls during auditions encouraged me to participate. I carry each of them with me,” she shared.
Elaborating on her journey, she stated, “This isn’t merely one woman’s journey or dream; it embodies billions of dreams, including those from my community and nation.”
Manika brought forth the collective power of women worldwide. “This reflects the narrative of every country. There are so many remarkable women and young girls looking up to us, potentially following our footsteps because we dare to dream,” she articulated.
Her answer left the interviewer momentarily speechless, responding with a simple, “Wow.”
The response gathered immense support online, with fans expressing their admiration. One commented humorously, “Don’t ask her any questions… she will overwhelm you with her answers.” Another echoed, “Incredible response; that’s the legacy the INDIAN representatives carry.” A third remarked, “She exemplifies the saying, ‘Never let an Indian speak at the finale,’ as she clearly deserves the crown.”
With her combination of grace, intellect, and cultural pride, Manika Vishwakarma continues to rise as a strong contender at Miss Universe 2025 and symbolizes India’s spirit on the world stage.
