Meera Vasudevan Celebrates Newfound Singleness After Third Divorce

Post by : Meena Ariff

Meera Vasudevan, a prominent Malayalam actress, has shared the news of her third marriage coming to an end. The 43-year-old star, known for her roles in films like Thanmathra, Oruvan, Vairam: Fight for Justice, and Am Ah, was married to cinematographer Vipin Puthiyankam from April 2024 until their separation in August 2025.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram this past Sunday, Meera stated, "I, Actress Meera Vasudevan, aka @officialmeeravasudevan, officially declare that I am now single since August 2025. I am in the most wonderful and peaceful phase of my life..." The post was accompanied by hashtags including #focused, #blessed, #gratitude, #meeravasudevan, #actressmeeravasudevan, and #actormeeravasudevan.

This is Meera's third foray into marriage. She was first wed to Vishal Agarwal, the son of renowned cinematographer Ashok Kumar, back in 2005; however, they divorced in 2010. In 2012, she tied the knot with actor John Kokken, with whom she shares a son, but the couple split in 2016.

Her career spans across Hindi and Tamil cinema, featuring in films such as Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula alongside Milind Soman, Thodi Life Thoda Magic with Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, and 13B: Fear Has a New Address, featuring R Madhavan. In the Tamil film industry, she has starred in works like Unnai Saranadainthen and Arivumani.

Despite the personal hurdles she has faced, Meera’s social media announcement radiates positivity as she embraces a fresh chapter of independence and tranquility in her life. Fans have flooded her post with supportive messages, wishing her joy and success ahead.
