On Wednesday, Melania Trump previewed her Amazon documentary titled "Melania" with the release of its first trailer. In the teaser, she addresses the audience directly, succinctly capturing her husband Donald Trump's political resurgence with the phrase: "Here we go again."
Scheduled for release on January 30, the film will be available in theaters and via Prime Video. It chronicles the crucial 20 days leading up to President Trump’s second inauguration, featuring aspects of transition planning, confidential discussions, and personal insights.
The trailer depicts Melania transitioning between the White House and her upscale Florida home, dressed in chic outfits, while assisting her husband with his speeches. Various segments showcase her providing input on his remarks and revealing personal moments, including a poignant scene of her placing a white flower at a gravesite.
This documentary aims to present a comprehensive view of Melania Trump's private and public experiences. Amazon states that it offers "unprecedented access" to important meetings, travel adventures, and exclusive photo sessions.
Directed by Brett Ratner, this film marks his significant return after facing multiple sexual misconduct allegations in 2017, which he has firmly denied.
Reports indicate Amazon’s licensing deal for the documentary is valued at around $40 million, with Melania believed to be receiving 70% of that figure, igniting various discussions.
