With the release of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things on the horizon, Millie Bobby Brown takes a moment to reflect on her emotional journey that began at just 12 years old. The star, who captured hearts as Eleven, describes the conclusion of this chapter as both surreal and deeply moving. “It was truly emotional, and surreal,” shares Millie. “I feel incredibly grateful and honored to have been part of such an extraordinary show for so many years and to portray such a fantastic character. I consider myself very blessed.”
Growing up under the spotlight, Millie acknowledges that navigating fame as a child was far from easy. “There is always a pressure to do everything perfectly,” she reveals. “Anyone's life can be scrutinized, which made it challenging at times.”
Fortunately, Millie had the unwavering support of her co-stars — Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin — throughout her incredible journey. “We experienced it all together,” she states. “I feel very fortunate to have had that support around me.”
Among countless memories on set, Millie highlights her special friendship with Noah Schnapp as a standout moment. “I think of myself as the third Schnapp for sure,” she says with a laugh. “I can't imagine my life without Noah. He is my best friend, and all my friendships are compared to the unique bond we share. We're practically siblings.”
Her voice softens as she shares about their connection: “We care for each other deeply and unconditionally. No matter the challenges we face, we're in this together until the end. Such friendships are rare, so cherish them when you find one.”
Millie emphasizes that Noah is her go-to for advice, a sentiment he reciprocates. “We truly look out for one another. This bond is pure because we knew each other before fame came into our lives. I only wish the best for him, and he feels the same. In the limelight, it’s often hard to trust intentions, but I never question his. His motivations are always genuine and filled with love.”
As Millie Bobby Brown prepares to say goodbye to Stranger Things, her reflections illuminate not only the conclusion of a significant chapter but also the enduring friendships and valuable lessons that accompany it.
