In an exhilarating showdown at Lusail Stadium, Qatar, Morocco emerged victorious in the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 final, overcoming Jordan with a score of 3-2. The match was packed with action and unforgettable moments for the fans. Morocco’s triumph featured a spectacular long-range goal from Oussama Tannane and a crucial brace from Abderrazzaq Hamed-Allah in extra time. Despite two goals from Jordan's AQli Olwan, his efforts fell short of securing the win for his team.
Tannane ignited the match with a brilliant strike that caught the Jordan goalkeeper off-guard. Jordan struck back in the second half, with Olwan scoring a quick equalizer just after the break. He later converted a penalty, putting Jordan in the lead. It looked promising for Jordan, but Morocco’s resolve saw them through.
Morocco’s resilient comeback featured Hamed-Allah, who scored just minutes before the end of regular time to bring the game to 2-2. The clash proceeded into extra time, where Hamed-Allah netted again in the 100th minute, giving Morocco a crucial lead. They maintained their advantage until the final whistle, achieving glory in the Arab Cup.
Morocco's path to the final was marked by remarkable performances, beginning with a 3-1 victory over Comoros, followed by a 0-0 stalemate with Oman. They went on to win 1-0 against both Saudi Arabia and Syria, and finally defeated the United Arab Emirates 3-0 to reach the championship match. While Jordan showcased their skills throughout the tournament, they fell short in the decisive match. Morocco’s title symbolizes their grit, cooperation, and exceptional talent, crowning them as the champions of the 2025 Arab Cup.
