The recent eliminations from Bigg Boss 19 took followers by surprise. Bhojpuri actress Neelam Giri and actor Abhishek Bajaj were ousted this week, eliciting a wave of reactions from audiences. Many took to social media, expressing disbelief and questioning the authenticity of the show's results.
In response, Neelam has clarified that the show is not scripted.
In her post-eviction interview, Neelam shared her insights about life in the Bigg Boss house, affirming that everything is spontaneous. “It is certainly not scripted. This is a reality show and all emotions here are genuine. The conflicts that arose were unplanned. There was no script,” she stated, putting speculation to rest.
During her stay in the house, Neelam developed a close friendship with Tanya Mittal, a relationship that garnered significant attention among both contestants and viewers, particularly after some housemates accused Tanya of dishonesty.
Neelam defended her bond with Tanya, expressing her commitment to their friendship despite the surrounding drama. “I didn’t investigate any details about Tanya; I was too emotional after being evicted. But I’ve always regarded Tanya as a genuine friend, and my feelings remain sincere. Her wealth or possessions are irrelevant to me,” she remarked.
Known for her contributions to the Bhojpuri film and music scene, Neelam was one of the standout contestants this season, admired for her candid personality and directness.
With Neelam and Abhishek Bajaj out, the remaining top contestants in Bigg Boss 19 now include:
Gaurav Khanna, Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, Farrhana Bhatt, Mridul Tiwari, and Pranit More.
Recently, there were talks suggesting that Bigg Boss 19 might be prolonged due to its impressive TRP ratings and digital engagement. However, sources indicate that the creators intend to follow their initial schedule.
A source disclosed, “There are no intentions to extend the season. While Bigg Boss 19 has been successful in many aspects, we aim to adhere to the originally planned 15-week timeline. Discussions about an extension were never initiated; we’re unsure how that rumor spread.”
