Oman Air Announces Direct Flights from Muscat to Singapore Starting July 2026

Post by : Maya Rahman

Oman Air has revealed plans to commence direct flights between Muscat and Singapore as of 2 July 2026. This new route will operate four times each week—on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—facilitating convenient travel between the two cities. This service not only enhances Oman Air’s presence in Southeast Asia, but it also takes advantage of the airline's recent integration into the oneworld alliance, allowing passengers smoother connections to destinations such as Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and more.

According to Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air, the new route provides expanded travel choices for both leisure and business travelers. He emphasized that this new service solidifies Muscat's function as a central hub connecting Asia-Pacific markets to Europe, offering a premium travel experience.

Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President of Changi Airport Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the impending launch, asserting that it will link Muscat to Singapore’s vast array of destinations in the Asia-Pacific. He believes this route will foster new travel prospects and fortify relations between the two regions.

The Muscat-Singapore flights will utilize Boeing 737 Max aircraft, equipped with Oman Air’s acclaimed Business and Economy Class cabins, ensuring a pleasant journey for every traveler.

This initiative exemplifies Oman Air’s ongoing commitment to broadening its global network, enhancing regional connectivity, and providing convenient travel solutions to cater to the increasing demands of passengers.

The new service is anticipated to attract both tourists and businesspeople, simplifying the travel process between the Middle East and Southeast Asia via expedited, direct flights.
