Bennedict Mathurin contributed 25 points, while Pascal Siakam added 23 as the Pacers continued to turn their season around, winning four out of their last six games after an early challenge marked by a 2-16 record. Although Indiana relinquished a 19-point lead in the second half, they closed strong with a 19-4 run in the closing moments, highlighted by Nembhard's impressive 12 points in that span.
For the Kings, Russell Westbrook achieved a triple-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists, marking his 207th overall and his fourth this season, which he secured before the end of the third quarter. DeMar DeRozan added 20 points and Zach LaVine chipped in with 16, yet Sacramento faced its fifth defeat in six outings.
In another notable game, the Phoenix Suns narrowly defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105. Mark Williams led the Suns with 22 points and seven rebounds, while Collin Gillespie had 19. Dillon Brooks scored 18 as the Suns secured their second victory over Minnesota this season. Anthony Edwards had a stellar performance for the Timberwolves with 40 points, ending their five-game winning streak. Julius Randle contributed 21 points to the effort.
The San Antonio Spurs pulled off a tightly contested 135-132 win against the New Orleans Pelicans. Dylan Harper hit the crucial game-winning shot with 9.1 seconds remaining, finishing with a career-high 22 points. After building a 20-point lead at halftime, the Spurs found themselves in a tight match as the Pelicans rallied briefly for the lead in the final quarter. Harrison Barnes led San Antonio with 24 points, and Stephon Castle added 18 upon his return after missing nine games. For the Pelicans, Derik Queen recorded his inaugural triple-double with 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, while Trey Murphy III scored 32. Unfortunately, the Pelicans hit their seventh consecutive loss, illustrating ongoing challenges within the NBA landscape.
