This experience inspired her solemn vow: “I will help them someday.” This promise gradually evolved into the driving force behind her foundation, which directs earnings from concerts and her personal savings towards critical medical aid.
Furthermore, Palak's humanitarian efforts extend beyond healthcare. She has also supported the families of Kargil martyrs and donated Rs 10 lakh for relief work in the aftermath of the Gujarat earthquake, reflecting her enduring commitment to social causes.
Although Palak has gained fame with her hit songs like Meri Aashiqui, Kaun Tujhe, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, she prioritizes her humanitarian mission over her celebrity status. A significant part of her charitable journey is shared with her husband, the esteemed composer Mithoon, who has steadfastly stood beside her in this noble venture. Mithoon famously remarked, “Even if there’s no show, no income – a child’s surgery will never stop.” This shared philosophy reflects their unwavering resolve to continue their humanitarian work regardless of financial limitations.
