Palak Muchhal Achieves Guinness World Record for Philanthropy

Palak Muchhal Achieves Guinness World Record for Philanthropy

Post by : Meena Ariff

Palak Muchhal, a celebrated singer known for her emotive music, has gained recognition in the Guinness World Records—not for her tunes but for her remarkable charity work. Through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, she has raised funds for 3,947 heart surgeries for children in need across India.

Reflecting on this honor, Palak expressed, “Being acknowledged by Guinness World Records for my charitable efforts is immensely fulfilling. I feel grateful for this global recognition. Since the age of seven, my singing has been dedicated to heart patients. I host ‘Save Little Hearts’ concerts where all proceeds fund surgeries for those battling heart issues. With 3,947 successful operations behind me and 416 children awaiting help, I aim to keep supporting these kids through my music.”

On celebrating her achievements, she shared, “Celebration is a constant in my life. Receiving records boosts my confidence that I'm on the right track. I often attend surgeries funded by my concerts, sometimes even being present in the operating room. I chant the Gita, Navkar mantra, and shlokas for the little ones. When doctors say, 'Congratulations Palak, your child is saved,' that’s my true celebration.”

Exciting news awaits Palak as reports unfold about her brother, musician Palash Muchhal, set to wed Indian women's cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana on November 20, 2025, in Sangli. She mentioned, “It’s a bit early to comment, but we are all very excited about the news.”
