On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon citizens, institutions, and policymakers to strengthen their commitment toward environmental conservation and sustainable development. Prime Minister Modi stressed that economic development and environmental protection must move forward together. He reiterated the government's commitment to balancing growth with sustainability by investing in renewable energy, green infrastructure, clean technology, and climate-resilient development strategies.
