On Thursday, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez welcomed Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch in Madrid for the 13th session of their High-Level Meeting, marking a significant step in the burgeoning partnership between Spain and Morocco. This visit underscores their commitment to working collaboratively across various spheres, including political, economic, and social domains. Both leaders took this opportunity to reaffirm the long-standing friendship and robust bilateral relations that have historically existed between the two nations.

This meeting provided a crucial platform for reviewing the advancements made since the establishment of the 2022 roadmap outlining cooperation priorities. The leaders concurred that progress should be evaluated with transparency, ongoing communication, and mutual confidence.
