Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, has won the popular US dance competition Dancing with the Stars in 2025. This victory comes ten years after his older sister Bindi Irwin won the same title. The show pairs celebrities with professional dancers who perform different styles of dance each week. The performances are judged by a panel, and viewers also vote for their favorite couples.

Robert, 21 years old, was a favorite to win the competition due to his strong and consistent performances over the 11 weeks of the show. During the final, he performed a special tribute to his late father, Steve Irwin, with a dance choreographed to a song by the Australian rock band Jet. His sister Bindi made a surprise appearance to support him.

The finale lasted three hours, during which Robert and his dance partner, Witney Carson, performed to music by famous artists like Avicii and Sam Sparro, who is from Sydney. In a challenging "instant dance" round, where they learned the dance style and music just minutes before performing, Robert and Witney impressed the judges and the audience.

Despite suffering from a rib injury, Robert gave his best performances and beat strong competitors, including influencer Alix Earle and Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles. Some contestants earned perfect scores early in the competition, but Robert also received perfect scores later on, showing his growth and skill.

After his final dance, Robert became emotional and said he wished his father could see him and be there to celebrate his achievement. Steve Irwin, famously known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was a beloved wildlife conservationist and television star. He tragically passed away in 2006 after being injured by a stingray during a diving expedition in Australia, when Robert was just a baby.

Following in his father's footsteps, Robert Irwin is passionate about wildlife and conservation. He has become a skilled photographer and recently took on the role of an Earthshot ambassador, working to protect the environment.
