Showcasing Saudi Craftsmanship at Riyadh Airport

Post by : Maya Rahman

The Saudi Artisanal Company is set to highlight the Kingdom's rich cultural heritage by collaborating with Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) to feature authentic Saudi handicrafts at King Khalid International Airport. This agreement was made official during the Made in Saudi Expo 2025, underlining the nation's commitment to promoting its culture and artistry.

Aligned with the Year of Handicrafts 2025 initiative, this collaborative effort seeks to elevate local artisans and spotlight Saudi craftsmanship to a broader audience. Special zones within the airport will be established to vividly display selected handicrafts, giving travelers a taste of both traditional and contemporary Saudi creative expressions.

Travelers can look forward to a comprehensive cultural experience showcasing the authenticity and superior quality of Saudi handicrafts. The project not only broadens the reach of local artists to global markets but also emphasizes the Kingdom’s rich artistic legacy. This initiative positions Saudi craftsmanship as a beacon of national pride and innovation, reflecting the Kingdom's heritage.

With this partnership, passengers at King Khalid International Airport will encounter vibrant representations of local artistry, enriching their travel experience while honoring Saudi craftsmanship and culture. By merging traditional methods with modern display, the initiative demonstrates Saudi Arabia's dedication to safeguarding and promoting its remarkable handicrafts for future generations.
