Popular actor and singer Shehnaaz Gill, who rose to fame on Bigg Boss 13 and made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, recently shared her fun experiences at Salman Khan's farmhouse. During an engaging chat on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Shehnaaz provided fans with an inside look at what goes on during the actor's personal gatherings.
When questioned about her experience at the farmhouse, Shehnaaz excitedly responded, “Yes, we all went there for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. We had a blast for 1-2 days.” She vividly described the festive spirit, recounting, “He had his bikes there, aur hum gedi laga rahe the (we were all having a good time riding around).” She also affectionately noted Salman’s unique approach to hosting, mentioning, “Salman picks berries from the trees and shares them with us.”
Shehnaaz emphasized Salman Khan's humble and 'desi' character, observing, “Salman sir toh bhut desi hai (he's very desi). He embodies the essence of desi lifestyle, working tirelessly like a farmer. He has a structured routine.” She added, “Unmein desi pana bahut hai (he has a lot of desi-ness in him). He focuses heavily on work and knows a lot about action in films.” This aspect of Salman often surprises his followers, revealing the hardworking and simple individual beneath the star persona.
Their bond traces back to Bigg Boss 13, where Salman was known for his protective and caring demeanor towards Shehnaaz. Their lighthearted moments on the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes captivated audiences, turning into a significant highlight of the series. Though she didn’t clinch the win, her journey on the show propelled her to stardom.
The action-comedy film, directed by Farhad Samji, features a stellar cast including Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh Daggubati alongside Salman Khan. Despite the impressive lineup and audience expectations, the film underperformed at the box office, earning ₹184.6 crore against a ₹125 crore budget.
Currently, Salman Khan is busy with his next project, Battle of Galwan, helmed by Apoorva Lakhia. Starring Chitrangada Singh, the film is inspired by the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in 2020. This production stands out as it portrays a combat scenario that does not involve firearms, focusing instead on intense physical confrontations. Scheduled for a 2026 release, it has generated significant buzz among fans.
