On 14 November 2025, the equity market experienced considerable downturn within the BSE’s ‘A’ group, showcasing multiple key stocks in sharp decline during the afternoon hours. Increased trading volumes highlighted a surge in investor activity, contributing to the overall negative sentiment.
Leading the drops, Prakash Industries Ltd witnessed a decline of 6.03%, closing at ₹147.30 by 14:46 IST. Notably, 82,614 shares were traded, well above its one-month average of 35,474 shares, signaling heightened selling pressure.
Following closely, Premier Energies Ltd fell 5.72% to ₹1,003, marking it as the second-largest loser. The trading volume reached 1.45 lakh shares, exceeding its one-month average of 1.27 lakh shares, underscoring persistent downward momentum.
GHCL Ltd faced a decline of 5.17%, trading at ₹607.70. The trading activity was moderate with 12,294 shares exchanged, slightly less than the one-month average of 14,149 shares.
Gabriel India Ltd also struggled, decreasing by 4.87% to ₹1,169.80, making it the fourth biggest loser. The day's trading saw 43,375 shares change hands, significantly higher than its average of 12,945 shares, indicating a trend of increased selling activity.
Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (MIDHANI) also fell under selling pressure, dropping 4.76% to ₹364.15, with 58,559 shares traded, far above its one-month average of 20,878 shares, showcasing strong market movements on the downside.
In summary, this collective downturn among these stocks reflects a cautious market sentiment, with elevated trading volumes suggesting that investors are actively reevaluating positions as the trading week unfolds.
