Sonam Kapoor Dazzles in Chic Maternity Attire

Sonam Kapoor Dazzles in Chic Maternity Attire

Post by : Meena Ariff

Sonam Kapoor is set to embrace motherhood once more, and she's doing so with undeniable flair. The 40-year-old actress, who entered matrimony with Anand Ahuja in 2018 and welcomed her son Vayu last year, recently revealed her anticipation for a second child through a captivating collection of photographs.

In her recent update, Sonam opted for a bespoke ivory ensemble by Rahul Mishra, melding classic Indian aesthetics with detailed craftsmanship. The anarkali showcased fine gold-thread embroidery and cascaded into a dhoti-style silhouette, while the embroidered dupatta added elegance without overshadowing her growing baby bump. She completed her look with a stunning Maharani-style necklace from Amrapali, styled by her sister and fashion stylist, Rhea Kapoor, alongside Abhilasha Devnani.

Earlier this week, Sonam was spotted in a refined Ferragamo outfit, where she teamed a high-neck black-and-white abstract blouse with a black asymmetric midi skirt, layered elegantly with a tailored grey wool coat. Her accessories included oversized black shades, a gold watch, hoop earrings, and chic white Jimmy Choo pumps—an ensemble that epitomizes high fashion.

Sonam first announced her pregnancy with a vibrant hot pink skirt suit, echoing Princess Diana's style, complete with padded shoulders and a tailored silhouette. She paired this statement piece with black stockings, metallic pumps, La Marquise jewellery, and a classic Audemars Piguet watch, captioning the moment simply: “MOTHER,” accompanied by a kiss emoji.

From graceful traditional ensembles to daring modern styles, Sonam Kapoor is reshaping maternity fashion with her distinctive approach and undeniable charm.
