This week, Sonam Kapoor captured hearts at a Dubai wedding as she donned two stunning pastel ensembles that emphasized her exquisite taste in fashion. The actress shared her joy on social media with photos captioned “Shaadi ready… two days and two looks I loved!”, showcasing her impeccable styling and intricate details.
Her first ensemble, an exquisite creation by Tarun Tahiliani × de Gournay, beautifully melded tradition with subtle sophistication. The muted blush kurta and dupatta were adorned with delicate floral patterns and styled by Rhea Kapoor and Manish Melwani. She accessorized this look with elegant pearl earrings, a beaded choker, and a vintage handbag by Meera Mahadevia, enhancing the overall finesse. Minimal makeup featuring glowing skin and softly shaded eyes completed her polished appearance, while her hair was elegantly styled into a sleek low bun by hairstylist Komal. Fizzy Goblet juttis and stacked bangles added a charming touch, with a simple watch tying together her accessories.
Later, she posed next to her husband, Anand Ahuja, who complemented her look in a classic black bandh gala with a satin shirt and tailored white trousers, perfectly harmonizing with her pastel attire.
On the second day, Sonam opted for a mint-blue organza saree designed by Anamika Khanna, featuring lovely lace borders and a beautifully embroidered cape-style blouse. The delicate hue added a sense of breezy elegance to her ensemble. Her makeup was fresh and minimalistic, offset by a striking deep-red lip shade, lending a compelling contrast to the pastel drapery.
These fashion choices showcase emerging trends for 2025 weddings, from soft shades and luxurious embroidery to minimalistic styles and bold accessories. With these looks, Sonam continues to solidify her reputation as a frontrunner in Bollywood fashion, effortlessly blending heritage with modernity.
