The recent episode of Bigg Boss 19 stirred significant discussions among fans, especially on social media. This week’s challenge highlighted the contestants' social media growth, which sparked some debates.
During a ration-related task, the contestants had the option to either add 10% more to their existing 30% ration or check their Instagram follower counts. Ashnoor Kaur, Malti Chahar, and Pranit More opted for more ration, while Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, and Kunickaa Sadanand decided to check their followers.
Farrhana was thrilled as her followers surged from 40,000 to 1 million. Amaal also rejoiced with his growth to 5.2 million. In contrast, Tanya Mittal seemed dissatisfied despite her follower count rising from 2.5 million to 3.7 million. She expressed to Farrhana and Kunickaa that she was aiming for 5 million followers.
Reactions on social media were not in her favor, with many users labeling her as “ungrateful” for not valuing her existing fanbase. Some notable comments included:
“A spiritual person should find joy in both gain and loss.”
“It's time to hit the unfollow button.”
“She’s upset because the growth slowed down.”
In addition to this, the episode featured tension during the captaincy task. Bigg Boss presented Gaurav with a dilemma: either assume captaincy, risking the housemates’ safety and rations, or appoint Shehbaz as captain to ensure everyone’s safety. Gaurav chose the former, leading to discontent among Amaal and Shehbaz, who deemed Bigg Boss's decision as “unfair.”
Upcoming promos hint at more conflicts, showcasing Amaal and Farrhana in a confrontation with Gaurav, while Shehbaz offers an apology to Bigg Boss.
