Anutin Charnvirakul warmly welcomed Wang Yi during an official meeting held at Government House in Bangkok. The visit highlighted the strong diplomatic ties between Thailand and China and aimed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the Thai Prime Minister hosted Wang Yi in a friendly atmosphere, serving traditional treats such as durian and sticky rice in bamboo. The gesture symbolized the close cultural and diplomatic relationship between the two nations.

Both sides expressed appreciation for the long-standing partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties. The Thai leadership acknowledged China’s continued support on international platforms and emphasized the importance of mutual trust and respect between the two countries.

Discussions focused on elevating Thailand-China relations to a deeper strategic level. Both countries agreed to work on a Joint Action Plan that aligns with their development strategies, ensuring stronger cooperation across multiple sectors.

The leaders also discussed increasing high-level exchanges, including invitations for future official visits and participation in international forums such as the APEC Leaders’ Summit. These exchanges are expected to further deepen diplomatic engagement.

Security cooperation was another key topic, with both sides prioritizing efforts to combat transnational crime, particularly scam networks that affect citizens across the region. Strengthening law enforcement collaboration was highlighted as a major step forward.

Both nations also agreed to expand practical cooperation through joint mechanisms and activities, aiming to deliver concrete and sustainable results. The meeting reflects a shared vision to build a stronger, long-term partnership based on strategic and practical cooperation.
