Thailand Honors Tourism Ministry Officials

Post by : Shakul

Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports held a formal ceremony for the bestowal of Royal Decorations, Sash Class, for the year 2025 in Bangkok. The event was presided over by Minister of Tourism and Sports Surasak Panjaroenvorakul and attended by senior officials and executives from the ministry.

The ceremony took place on May 19, 2026, at the Pholbodee Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports building. Senior ministry representatives, including Permanent Secretary Natriya Taweewong and Secretary to the Minister Paskorn Rangsiwattanasak, joined the event alongside ministry personnel and invited guests.

Officials described the atmosphere as dignified, respectful, and filled with pride as recipients received royal decorations recognizing their commitment and dedicated service to the country. The royal honors are considered among the highest forms of recognition awarded to public servants for loyalty, integrity, and contributions to national development.

Minister Surasak Panjaroenvorakul emphasized the importance of honesty, responsibility, and dedication among ministry personnel. He stated that the ceremony was not only a moment of recognition but also an opportunity to inspire officials to continue serving the nation with professionalism and integrity.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports noted that such ceremonies help strengthen morale among government employees and encourage unity within the organization. Officials believe that recognizing dedicated service motivates personnel to work more effectively toward supporting Thailand’s tourism and sports sectors.

Authorities also highlighted the role of the tourism and sports industries in Thailand’s long-term economic development. The ministry continues to focus on promoting sustainable tourism growth, improving international cooperation, and strengthening sports development across the country.

The ceremony reflected Thailand’s tradition of honoring public service and acknowledging individuals who contribute positively to national progress. Attendees expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the ministry’s future goals and development plans.

Government representatives stated that the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will continue encouraging ethical leadership, transparency, and teamwork among its personnel while working to strengthen Thailand’s tourism reputation and sporting excellence on the international stage.
