Final State Exams Begin at Turkmen Universities

Final State Exams Begin at Turkmen Universities

Post by : Shakul

Final state examinations have officially commenced at higher education institutions across Turkmenistan, marking an important milestone for thousands of students preparing to complete their academic journey during the 2025–2026 academic year. The examinations represent the final stage of assessment before students graduate and enter professional careers or advanced academic programs.

Among the first institutions to announce the start of the examination period was Magtymguly Turkmen State University, one of the country's leading centers of higher education. University officials described the examinations as a highly significant stage that reflects the knowledge, skills, and competencies students have acquired throughout their years of study.

To ensure transparency, fairness, and academic integrity, the university established 21 State Examination Committees responsible for overseeing the examination process. These committees include experienced scholars from the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, researchers from specialized scientific institutions, representatives of government ministries, and senior professors from higher education establishments across the country.

A total of 1,879 students are expected to complete their studies at Magtymguly Turkmen State University during the current academic year. The graduating class includes specialists, bachelor's degree candidates, and master's degree students enrolled in more than 30 academic disciplines. The examinations are designed to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required in their respective fields.

University representatives noted that the education and training provided to graduates have been closely aligned with Turkmenistan’s long-term national development strategies. These include programs focused on scientific advancement, biotechnology development, modernization of higher education, and the promotion of natural and exact sciences. The objective is to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of contributing to the country's economic and social progress.

Officials emphasized that significant investments in education infrastructure, academic resources, and student development have created favorable conditions for learning and innovation. These efforts have enabled students to participate in scientific research, creative projects, and professional training opportunities while pursuing their studies.

As final examinations continue throughout the country, education leaders expressed confidence that this year's graduates will successfully demonstrate their knowledge and skills. They believe the new generation of professionals emerging from Turkmenistan’s universities will play a vital role in supporting national development goals, strengthening key industries, and contributing to the country's future growth and modernization.
