Abu Dhabi – The ADNOC Technical Academy (ATA) has proudly announced the graduation of 403 UAE Nationals, equipped with essential skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, marking a significant achievement in developing a skilled workforce for the energy sector.
The two-year vocational program centered on disciplines like electrical maintenance, instrumentation, mechanical maintenance, and processing operations. Students engaged in hands-on training coupled with innovative technologies, readying them for high-demand roles within ADNOC’s expansive operations.
Additionally, ATA has integrated cutting-edge AI solutions like Neuron 5, which has effectively cut unplanned shutdowns by half. Graduates also gained practical experience with drones, robotics, and remotely operated vehicles, enhancing their skills in site inspections, infrastructure oversight, and gas leak detection, thus aligning their technical training with real-world applications in energy.
Since its inception in 1978, ATA has produced over 6,000 UAE Nationals, substantially contributing to the nation’s workforce in the industrial and energy sectors. Upcoming partnerships with international robotics firms aim to further enrich the training programs, ensuring that alumni stay competitive in automation and AI technologies within the energy field.
With this fresh cohort of graduates, ADNOC fortifies its goal of becoming the leading AI-driven energy firm, placing UAE talent at the forefront of the fast-evolving technological landscape in the energy sector.
