India’s young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a breathtaking performance in Dubai, announcing his arrival on the big stage with a powerful innings that left cricket fans in awe. The 14-year-old opener played a remarkable knock of 171 runs from just 95 balls as India faced the UAE in their opening match of the Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup 2025 at the ICC Academy Ground.

The left-hander reached his century in only 56 deliveries, a stunning effort that included clean hitting and precise placement. The young batter from Bihar has been rewriting record books throughout the year. He already holds the record for the fastest Youth ODI century, achieved earlier this year, and is also the youngest player to score a hundred in the format. His latest performance further strengthens his growing reputation as one of India’s most exciting cricket prospects.

This was not the first time Suryavanshi tormented the UAE bowling attack. Just weeks earlier, he had smashed a rapid 144 in a T20 tournament, showcasing his ability to score quickly across formats.
