Azerbaijan Airlines Plane Crashes Near Aktau, Kazakhstan | Baku to Grozny Flight Emergency

An Azerbaijan Airlines passenger aircraft crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. The Embraer 190 aircraft was operating a flight from Baku to Grozny when it developed technical trouble mid-air and attempted an emergency landing. The aircraft crashed during the landing attempt, leading to a major aviation accident.

A total of 62 passengers and 5 crew members were on board the aircraft. According to preliminary reports, around 28 to 32 people survived the crash, although many of them are said to be in critical condition. Rescue teams immediately reached the site and shifted the injured passengers to nearby hospitals.

Pilots Confirmed Dead in the Crash

Authorities confirmed that both pilots lost their lives in the accident. Officials stated that the pilots tried their best to land the aircraft safely, but the technical failure and difficult circumstances prevented them from avoiding the crash.

Emergency response teams and local authorities launched a rescue operation soon after the crash. Efforts are ongoing to search through the wreckage and provide medical assistance to survivors. Meanwhile, aviation authorities have started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
