Three masked men allegedly carried out a major goldsmith robbery after entering a jewellery shop and escaping with 81 pieces of jewellery valued at around RM1.74 million.
According to police, the suspects were allegedly armed with axes and crowbars when they entered the goldsmith. After taking the jewellery, the men reportedly fled the area in a BMW. Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify the suspects. Authorities are also searching for the vehicle and gathering information that could help establish the circumstances surrounding the jewellery theft.
The incident has drawn attention because of the high value of the stolen items and the alleged use of weapons during the robbery.
