From March 16 to 18, 2027, Abu Dhabi will proudly host the ResponsibleSteel Forum, representing the inaugural occurrence of this international event in the MENA region. EMSTEEL Group, a key player as one of the largest publicly listed steel and building materials companies in the area, is confirmed as the Lead Sponsor for this three-day gathering.
The forum aims to unite prominent figures from the global steel value chain, including policymakers, investors, technology innovators, steel manufacturers, customers, and representatives from various sectors.
Designed to foster dialogues on industrial transitions, climate action, and the challenges of decarbonising traditional industries, the ResponsibleSteel Forum will also shine a light on Abu Dhabi's evolving status as a hub for significant industrial discussions.

Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL, highlighted the significance of hosting the ResponsibleSteel Forum in Abu Dhabi for the first time in the MENA region, acknowledging it as a landmark achievement for EMSTEEL, the UAE, and the global steel sector.
He emphasized that the forum signifies Abu Dhabi's expanding role as a global center for discussions focused on industrial transformation and climate strategies. Furthermore, as decarbonisation increasingly impacts business practices, investment planning, and competitiveness, this event serves as a vital platform for global participants to converge and develop actionable solutions that foster a sustainable steel industry.
Annie Heaton, CEO of ResponsibleSteel, noted that the dynamic global landscape has amplified the necessity for clean energy frameworks and showcased the pivotal role of sunbelt economies in advancing lower-emission iron and steel production.
She asserted that the ResponsibleSteel Forum 2027 will convene industry leaders for critical discussions about the future of responsible steel production.
