Oranges are renowned for their vitamin C content, essential in combating infections, promoting recovery, and maintaining cellular health. A single medium orange can provide more than the daily recommended intake of vitamin C, establishing it as a powerful ally against common colds and flu, particularly during the winter months. Additionally, oranges are rich in antioxidants that mitigate free radical damage, further fortifying the immune system.
