Celebrating Resilience: Art4you's 'Together for Hope'

Celebrating Resilience: Art4you's 'Together for Hope'

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Dubai, UAE – November 2025: Art4you Gallery, in partnership with The Arabica Royale, unveiled its uplifting initiative, “TOGETHER FOR HOPE”, to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025. This event united artists, cancer warriors, health specialists, and the local community in an uplifting celebration of strength, empathy, and creative expression.

Curated by Jesno Jackson, the founder and chief curator of Art4you Gallery, Together for Hope showcased the powerful intersection of art and advocacy, aiming to raise awareness, promote early detection, and foster healing for those impacted by breast cancer.

At the heart of the exhibition was the elephant, symbolizing wisdom and resilience. Artists adorned a minimalist line-drawing of an elephant, infusing it with vibrant colors and textures that depicted hope and courage. A live painting event titled “The Elephant of Strength” served as an emotional homage, illustrating the power of community and compassion through artistic endeavors.

Participants included eighteen artists from across the globe, who created colorful pieces on eco-friendly, elephant-shaped wooden panels during the live art event. These artworks were later assembled into a breathtaking installation known as “The Herd of Hope”, symbolizing collective strength and unity in the face of challenges. Featured artists included Asjad Elsayed (Australia), Shakiba Rabiei (Iran), Perihan Marwan (Egypt), Christina Leonard, Jeevan Oroolu Veettil, Imaan Owais Qureshi, Neetu Geoge, Jesno Jackson, Shaf Beypore, Afshan Khan, Thomas Antony (India), Svetlana Kreventsova, Nataliia Venerova, Vasilisa Eliseeva, Anastassia Novokreshchenova, Sophie Bekmurzaeva, Zara Bekmurzaeva, Reem Al Subiae, and Dahana Salem (Saudi Arabia).

The educational segment, “Strength in Pink,” included thought-provoking talks by Dr. Heike Lieb-Wilson, Dr. Sandra Cristina Isidro Martinho, Fatma Yamen, along with young speaker Kiara Kaur. Topics revolved around wellness, emotional recovery, and the crucial impact of community support, illustrating how collective awareness empowers survivors and their families.

Art featured throughout Together for Hope emphasized resilience and femininity, as techniques varying from fluid brushstrokes to textured layers interpreted the elephant as a symbol of healing. Shades of pink, white, and gold resonated with themes of hope, purity, and resilience. The installation “Herd of Hope” served as a poetic testament that creativity, united with compassion, can enhance messages of empowerment.

Additional highlights included the “Pink Canvas Showcase”, spotlighting expressive works by Neethu George and Vasilisa Eliseeva that celebrated feminine strength and endurance. The event welcomed notable attendees like Ahmed Al Mahmood and Lara Tabet, alongside art lovers, media representatives, and supporters.

“Art is a remarkable force for unification and healing,” remarked Jesno Jackson. “Together for Hope was not just an exhibition; it symbolized a movement of empathy, awareness, and bravery.” Co-founder Rengi Cherian stated, “Every brushstroke and shared story conveyed a universal message of resilience and compassion.”

Support came from various partners, including Breast Cancer Now, Andean Naturals, Dreamy Handicraft, Pamela’s Cakes, Antique Museum, and Paper Fig, all amplifying the initiative's mission for awareness, hope, and empowerment.

Since its launch in 2016, Art4you Gallery has curated over 400 global exhibitions, establishing itself as a premier platform for cultural dialogue that merges art with purposeful endeavors to inspire understanding, optimism, and social transformation.
