Returning as the host of Laughter Chefs Season 3, comedian Bharti Singh brought her usual flair, but a recent episode stirred controversy. During the show, she made a remark regarding actress Ayesha Khan's height, shockingly leaving fans and viewers aghast. The cast of the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, which included Warina, Ayesha, Tridha, and Parul Gulati, performed a dance to the song Pahli Uddi Furrr to promote their film. What started as a light-hearted segment turned awkward when Bharti drew a comparison between Ayesha and comedian Krushna Abhishek.

Ayesha visibly bristled at the comment, trying to shield her stomach with her hand while seeking support from Kapil Sharma on set. Parul Gulati also called Bharti out directly, stating, “You shouldn’t have said this.” Bharti, seemingly unfazed by the backlash, responded, “Sorry, I am pregnant,” trying to frame her joke as harmless. However, viewers were not pleased, taking to social media to voice their frustrations.

The clip surged in popularity on social platforms, with numerous criticisms labeling Bharti's joke as body-shaming. Users pointed out the irony of Bharti, who has built her career in part on her own physicality, making such a comment on national television.
