Emirates Red Crescent Gives Clothes and Meat to Families in Yemen
The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), along with the Humanitarian Action Cell, gave out new clothes to families in Hodeida and Taiz governorates in Yemen as part of their Eid Al-Adha help drive.
This is the fifth year in a row that they have done this. This time, they gave clothes to 35,000 families, including people who were poor, sick, orphans, and those who had to leave their homes because of problems in the country.
At the same time, the Emirates Red Crescent also handed out sacrificial meat in the Hadhramaut area to help families who can't afford to buy meat during Eid.
The meat was given out in the Al Mukalla District. The event was attended by Ahmed Salem Bazroos, who is the Director General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour in the Hadhramaut Coast. Some officials from the Emirates Red Crescent were also there.
These efforts are part of the ERC’s mission to help people in need, especially during special times like Eid Al-Adha.
