The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has announced that all arrangements are finalized for the FIA Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, set to unfold this Sunday in Monte Carlo.
This Grand Prix will kick off the European segment of the 2026 Formula One World Championship, underscoring the significance of a renowned and historic motorsport event as the series embraces a new regulatory phase.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem hailed the Monaco Grand Prix as one of the premier events in global motorsport. He emphasized its legacy, excellence, precision, and passion, which continue to captivate fans worldwide.
According to Ben Sulayem, the 2026 season signifies an essential new era for Formula 1, with Monaco standing as a powerful emblem of what sets the sport apart. He acknowledged the contributions of elite drivers, cutting-edge engineering, committed teams, and the tireless efforts of officials, volunteers, and organizers that ensure a successful race weekend.
The FIA President also extended his gratitude to all those involved in orchestrating the event, including FIA officials, local organizers, marshals, volunteers, teams, and commercial partners, remarking that every Formula 1 race relies on their dedication and hard work.
As the global footprint of Formula 1 continues to grow, the FIA remains dedicated to upholding top-tier competition standards while advocating for safety, sustainability, and the sustainable advancement of motorsport across all levels.
