A deadly airstrike struck the central area of the Gaza Strip early this morning, resulting in multiple casualties amid ongoing conflict in the region.
According to medical sources, at least eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured following an attack in Block 9 of the Bureij refugee camp. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The strike was reportedly carried out by Israeli Defense Forces, targeting a group of people gathered in the area. The incident has further intensified concerns over civilian safety.
Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene, with ambulance crews transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment. The bodies of those killed were also recovered and taken to medical facilities.
Local hospitals are currently under pressure as they deal with the influx of casualties. Medical staff are working to provide treatment despite limited resources and challenging conditions.
The latest strike adds to the rising toll of violence in the Gaza Strip, where repeated clashes have resulted in significant human losses and widespread destruction.
Authorities and humanitarian organizations continue to call for restraint and the protection of civilians as tensions remain high in the region.
