A child was reported injured due to shrapnel from an Iranian assault on Qatar early Sunday, as confirmed by Qatar's Ministry of Interior.
Officials stated that the injuries occurred during an interception operation in response to the aggression. The child is currently receiving essential medical care.
In reaction to this incident, Qatar's security and Civil Defence teams have implemented their emergency action plans.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that the necessary measures are in place to address the situation. Authorities are vigilantly monitoring developments to ensure public safety and maintain operational essential services.
The Ministry advised residents and citizens to rely on official channels for accurate updates concerning the incident.
Officials also cautioned against disseminating unverified information, including rumors and unauthorized images or videos. They stressed that sharing false or unverified details may lead to legal consequences.
