Kuwait Intercepts 32 Drones Following Airspace Violations

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The Ministry of Defense of Kuwait revealed on Thursday that its air defense systems intercepted 32 hostile drones that had breached its airspace.

According to official statements, the drones were identified at dawn, prompting an immediate response from the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which effectively engaged and neutralized them.

Military Representative Asserts Successful Counteraction

Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz al-Atwan, spokesperson for the Ministry, confirmed the successful interception of all 32 drones, framing the incident as part of Iran's "malicious aggression" against Kuwait.

Damage From Drone Debris Reported

The ministry reported that remnants of the intercepted drones landed in various residential locales within the country.

Although the debris caused material damage, officials stated that there were no reported injuries or fatalities.

Military Preparedness Remains High

The Ministry of Defense reassured that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are on heightened alert to address any potential security threats.

The military continues its operations with dedication towards bolstering national security to protect both citizens and residents.
