Kuwait Continues Remote Learning, Exams Online

Kuwait Continues Remote Learning, Exams Online

Post by : Shakul

Kuwait has decided to continue its remote learning system across educational institutions, with authorities confirming that no changes have been made to the current arrangement. The decision reflects ongoing efforts to maintain stability in the education sector under prevailing conditions.

The Ministry of Education stated that online learning will remain in place until further notice. In addition, newly appointed teachers have been instructed to report to their assigned schools and are restricted from requesting transfers for a period of three years to ensure continuity in staffing.

Kuwait University has also aligned with the policy by continuing remote education and allowing final examinations to be conducted online. The university has approved its upcoming admissions policy and taken steps to support students, including extending deadlines for course withdrawals in certain cases.

At the same time, Kuwait University has strengthened its academic collaborations by approving agreements with international institutions. These initiatives aim to enhance educational quality and expand opportunities for students and faculty members.

Beyond education, authorities have taken steps to ease restrictions in other sectors. The coast guard has permitted fishing and leisure boats to operate during daytime hours, from early morning to evening, while emphasizing adherence to safety regulations and designated zones.

Government agencies are also focusing on improving infrastructure and crisis management capabilities. Discussions between aviation and communications authorities aim to strengthen technical cooperation and operational efficiency, while national crisis teams are working to enhance emergency response coordination.

These combined measures highlight Kuwait’s approach to balancing public safety, education continuity, and economic activity. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and adjust policies as needed to ensure stability and effective governance.
